Truist Easter Boxes

We extend our deepest gratitude to Truist for their generous support in making our Easter initiative a resounding success. With their invaluable contribution, we were able to prepare Easter food boxes complete with free crockpots, fostering not only the spirit of the season but also promoting healthy eating habits within our community. WVU Extension Service provided fun “Rethink Your Drink” Materials to add to the boxes and everyone received a free crockpot recipe booklet! Additionally, the overwhelming kindness of over 200 Easter baskets, brimming with goodies, donated by community members and local churches, underscores the collective effort towards spreading joy and support to children in need. Together, with Truist’s support and the unwavering generosity of our community, we’ve made a tangible difference in the lives of many this Easter season. Thank you for believing in our mission and for your unwavering commitment to creating positive change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude not only to Truist but also to the remarkable community members who generously volunteered their time and effort to prepare the Food Boxes and Easter baskets. Special thanks to Dan, Ray, Baptist Temple, Dunbar United Methodist, and the dedicated students from the University of Connecticut who lent their hands and hearts to this endeavor. Your selflessness and commitment to serving others have played an integral role in making our Easter initiative a true manifestation of compassion and goodwill. Together, with your invaluable support, we’ve spread joy, nourishment, and hope to those in need within our community. Thank you for embodying the spirit of giving and for being an inspiration to us all.
