Thanks to the generous support from The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, local churches, and caring community members, we are able to provide weekend meal bags to students at South Charleston Middle School who may not have enough food at home. Each week, students receive a bag filled with essential nourishment, including two breakfasts, two lunches, two snacks, two dinners, and more, ensuring they have sustenance over the weekend. Additionally, during school breaks, we extend our support by providing extra food to cover the extended period. This vital initiative wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers, who selflessly pack these bags with care and compassion, ensuring that no child in our community goes hungry when they’re away from school. Together, we’re making a significant difference in the lives of these students and fostering a healthier, more resilient community for all.
