Every year, we are honored to welcome Roncalli High School from Indianapolis to join us for Spring Break and a week in the summer, during which they undertake crucial home improvement projects in the Upper Kanawha Valley. Led by Pastor Dave Peters, this exceptional group of high school students finds their home away from home at the community center behind Mount Juliet United Methodist Church. Their dedication shines as they construct accessibility ramps, apply fresh coats of paint, and complete essential home repairs for our neighbors in need. Not stopping there, these compassionate students also lend their hands in our clothing closet and community garden, where they help cultivate food for the Heart+Hand food pantry. Their unwavering commitment to service and community upliftment truly embodies the spirit of Heart+Hand, and we are immensely grateful for their partnership and impact year after year.
